I was recently in a well known department store overlooking the construction site of the London 2012 Olympic Stadium and I got to thinking what we actually manufacture in the UK now?

The viewing area of the store was laid out as a London 2012 souvenir shop.
I thought with all the Union Jack emblems and London 2012 logos I would purchase a souvenir of the event, so I set myself a task to find something that carries what seems to be a rarity nowadays, something that was Made in England. It could even be made in the UK.
With all the Union Jack flags, the London 2012 images and logos, I thought it would be an easy task but I was disappointed that I could not find a single item that carried a MADE IN ENGLAND – BRITAIN or UK  label.
