Hagen-Renaker Tour
Hagen-Renaker as most people now know, began in a garage in Culver City in California in 1944. At that time they were producing tableware dishes, flower bowls, plates and plaques. The next major development occurred in 1947 with Maxine Renaker's thumb sized duck.(left picture) which in effect was the beginning of the miniature line. Since the end of the Second World War there has been a close relationship, both personal and working, between the Wade group of potteries of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, UK and the Hagen-Renaker Pottery of Los Angeles, California in the USA.
